Actually the spontaneous celebrations in Jamaica Plain (a neighborhood of Boston) are quite planned. They have a head organizer and everything! Nonetheless, we went to the big 'Wake Up the Earth' festival today for a little while. We saw the family I work for and ate some decent Puerto Rican food. There were so many people there! I'm still getting used to that many people being everywhere all the time.
I hear now that it's summer, street festivals will be happening all the time! Hooray!
