Hello, Mr. Jefferson

We made our way to Charlottesville, VA, today to visit Monticello, the private home of Thomas Jefferson. He was so innovative for his time and his designs were really thoughtful, which I enjoyed seeing.
We also walked around the University of Virginia's campus which T.J. designed the core of. Students still live all around the edges of this rectangular lawn. I'm jealous!
Before we left Asheville, NC this morning, we stopped at the biggest farmer's market I've seen. Fresh blackberries and peaches were the perfect way to start the day!

Speaking of 'this day,' it's Bryan's birthday! Happy 25th, Love!
